Birthday Blog...

At some point yesterday (or today, depending on where your standing), the blog crept up over 5000 hits. See Blog Go... Go Blog Go! Not too shabby. Considering that it's all word of mouth, and that I didn't really get rolling on this thing until late February, that's not a bad first six months.

So thanks for stopping by, and keep spreading the word.

And for God's sake, leave a comment now and then so I know you've been around.

Hey Mr. Ford,
Wassup? It occurs to me as I read "Birthday Blog" that I missed your birthday this year, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you had a great time. I may not always be on time but at least I'm well-intentioned:)

Jeff, Thanks for the appreciation buddy, but considering that Artsaypunk is a made up word, and that I'm the only one in the world that uses it, it's really no big surprise that I'm the first hit on Google.

I've never tracked it, but I guarantee that the "How to Speak Pakistani" post is the most read on the blog. Most of my friends at home have no idea what it's referring to, but Pakistanis know exactly what I'm talking about.

i miss pakistan...and u make it sound so much better than the newspapers...btw..where's the "how to speak pakistani" blog?!

Thanks. It's not hard to make Pakistan sound better than the newspapers have it. That's either because I wander through this world wearing rose coloured glasses, or because I have more of an open mind for unbiased observation than your average corporate media outlet. Read independent news, they're the only ones actually reporting anymore anyway.

And the Pakistani phrase book is a way back yonder in the archives somewhere.... should I be nice and link it up for you... nah, it'll be faster if you just type it into google.
