As I look out onto the Rideau canal and memories of Terry Fox dance in my brain, I remember long ago a friend named Dave. He flew to Pakistan never to be heard from again. Could this be the Dave of this blog perchance? Methinks so. Me also thinks that this blog will form the basis for a Tony award winning play someday. Time to stop writing methinks. Drop me a line sometime - glad to hear your adventure is going well!
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time

Dear David J. Ford,
